From a girl in my class:
"Judaism is such a beautiful religion!"
Isn't it, though? ;)
Have a wonderful, meaningful Shabbos-selichos start this week...are YOU ready?

Life has changed quite a bit. I'm still "a frum, female, actress, eternally grateful for the life in which I was raised," trying to follow the advice of Julia Blum and "Dream Big Dreams." My dreams might have changed a bit. Although theatre and manuscripts still play an important role within them, they're not always the main focus...

Same to you.
I have been thinking about selichot as well these days, and am into the realm of introspection as well.
I feel like just because I'm supposed to be focusing inward, I'm suddenly swamped with work that I MUST do.
And when I think about Rosh Hashana these days, I don't think about what it means or the gravity of the day, but just how much school I'll be missing.
Sigh.
I need to do some spiritual work.
